Is Termax really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and works with your own API key. There are no hidden charges and no card required — you only pay if you choose the Lifetime license.
Do I need my own API key?
Only on the Free plan. The Lifetime license unlocks unlimited usage through Termax's hosted models — nothing to configure.
Is my data sent to your servers?
No. Termax is local-first. Commands run on your machine. Only the AI text exchange goes to the model provider — never your files unless a command explicitly reads them.
How does the Lifetime license work?
Pay once — currently $54 (≈ 15,000 PKR) — and your account is upgraded to Lifetime forever. No renewals, no subscriptions. Secure checkout is handled by LemonSqueezy (cards/PayPal/local payment methods). As soon as you finish payment your account unlocks automatically.
