What is a "credit"?
One credit ≈ one AI request through Termax's hosted models. Simple commands cost less than heavy multi-step automations. Starter users are never billed — they use their own API key instead.
Do I need my own API key?
Only on the free Starter plan. Pro and Lifetime include hosted credits — nothing to configure.
Is my data sent to your servers?
No. Termax is local-first. Commands run on your machine. Only the AI text exchange goes to the model provider — never your files unless a command explicitly reads them.
